Sometimes you have to clean your cache and ensure that you are testing from a browser with no cookies, no temp files. Each of these tools do this and much, much more.

The Print Screen button – Paste to editor of your choice
Microsoft Expression Encoder – a really neat capture tool but with onboard graphics on my laptop there is no preview for video capture before saving.
GRAPHICS EDITORS / VIEWERS:
IrfanView – I have been using this since 1999 and it still is my favorite do everything viewer (editor) for Graphics and Multimedia.
XML:
Microsoft XML Notepad – this is worth a look if you want to see your XML as a table and have (haven’t we all) accidentally deleted tags when editing. You don’t touch the XML a la Notepad style editing. Instead you tab to the value you want to amend.
SCRIPTING:
The Microsoft Scripting Center
PATCH MANAGEMENT
File Hippo – their Application and Library makes for a killer combo.
PC ANALYSIS
Soluto – if you have read my blog before you know I highly rate this.

Don't forget these:
Notepad++ for when testers need to work with files in many different programming and scriptiong languages.
